SRI is no longer available. Canadian suppliers now register through SAP Business Network.
The Supplier Registration Information system was decommissioned on July 6, 2026. Older registration instructions that direct suppliers to SRI are obsolete.
WHAT CHANGED
Registration moved; supplier responsibility did not.
CanadaBuys now directs suppliers to SAP Business Network for federal supplier registration. The practical risk is not only using the wrong link. It is assuming that a newly created account is fully configured, controlled, and ready for tender activity.
Businesses should treat the transition as an account-governance exercise: legal identity, administrator ownership, questionnaire completion, categories, notifications, and award-stage information must all be controlled.
MIGRATION CHECK
Confirm the account is usable—not merely created.

Verify the legal business name and address against CRA records.

Complete the Government of Canada customer-requested questionnaire.

Record the account administrator and ANID in an internal source of truth.
